ReoGrid V5 for Avalonia Released — A High-Performance Spreadsheet Component That Runs on Mac and Linux
UNVELL Inc. has released ReoGrid V5 for Avalonia, bringing its .NET spreadsheet component to Windows, macOS and Linux. The same code and the same project run on all three desktops. Built by using the ReoGrid V5 core engine as it stands, it inherits V5's memory design (16.4 bytes per cell, an 18.2x difference against the previous generation), its full-virtualization performance and its Excel-compatible formatting, and supports IME text entry.

UNVELL Inc. released ReoGrid V5, the next generation of its spreadsheet component for .NET, on August 25, 2026. Rather than an extension of V4, it is a next generation rebuilt from the core, with full virtualization placed on line one of the design: a frame costs the same ~6.5 ms at a hundred thousand rows and at a million, and the viewport read takes 30.4 µs while allocating zero bytes.

UNVELL Inc. released ReoGrid Web 1.5, the latest version of its Excel-like spreadsheet library for web apps, on August 8, 2026. It adds Excel-style find & replace, drag-to-move for selected ranges, rows and columns, page headers and footers, and a PDF font registry that embeds the right Japanese, Chinese or Korean font from a locale name.
